Marking the 2025 World Day for Safety and Health at Work, NIPCO Plc reaffirmed its commitment to safety excellence in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector. At an event in Lagos, MD/CEO Suresh Kumar emphasized the company’s focus on employee well-being, noting the theme “A Safe Workplace is a Happy Workplace.” He highlighted NIPCO’s 20-year record of no Lost Time Injuries (LTI), crediting strict safety protocols and adherence to international best practices.

NIPCO Plc’s safety strategy focuses on proactive risk management, employee engagement, and continuous improvement, according to MD/CEO Suresh Kumar. By identifying and addressing hazards, the company maintains a safe work environment. Kumar emphasized the role of employee training and awareness in fostering a safety-first culture. He also highlighted NIPCO’s commitment to regularly updating its safety procedures to ensure ongoing effectiveness and accident prevention.

NIPCO Plc’s 2025 safety slogan, “Zero compromise towards safety,” reflects its strong commitment to a safety-first culture. MD/CEO Suresh Kumar thanked employees for their dedication and emphasized that safety is a core value embedded in all operations. He affirmed that as NIPCO grows, its focus on maintaining high safety standards and compliance will remain steadfast.
