Despite recent reports and speculation, Carlo Ancelotti’s verbal agreement to become the head coach of the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup remains valid and ready to be signed.

Ancelotti's Brazil Agreement Remains Firm, Exit from Real Madrid to Follow El Clásico

Sources indicate that earlier discussions between the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Real Madrid regarding the timing of Ancelotti’s departure had presented some hurdles.

However, it is now understood that Carlo Ancelotti will proceed with the necessary steps to finalize his exit from Real Madrid following the upcoming El Clásico.

The Brazilian Federation are reportedly awaiting Ancelotti to formally put pen to paper on the contract.

This reaffirms the widely reported agreement and suggests that the Italian manager is still on track to take charge of the Seleção.

This update provides clarity on Ancelotti’s situation, indicating that the initial agreement with Brazil is solid and that the timing of his departure from Real Madrid is the primary factor in the formalization of the deal.

Brazilian football fans can seemingly still look forward to the arrival of the decorated coach.
