Gulacsi Hospitalized After Heavy Collision in 1-1 Draw

Leipzig, Germany – RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi sustained a concussion and an injury to his right ear following a significant collision with a Holstein Kiel player during their match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Gulacsi Hospitalized After Heavy Collision in 1-1 Draw

The match saw Holstein Kiel take the lead through S. Machino in the 44th minute. RB Leipzig managed to equalize in the 74th minute with a penalty scored by B. Šeško.

However, the result was overshadowed by the injury to their goalkeeper.

The club has confirmed that while Gulacsi is in good condition considering the circumstances, he will remain in the hospital overnight for further observation.

The incident will be a concern for RB Leipzig, and updates on his recovery will be closely followed.
