
PETAN is preparing an advocacy package to promote investment opportunities in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.For the 2025 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), PETAN, on behalf of NNPC Ltd. and the Petroleum Ministry, will host the Nigerian Pavilion.Themed “Africa’s Energy Renaissance: Leveraging Innovation and Natural Gas for Sustainable Development,” the event will bring a strong Nigerian delegation to OTC, the world’s largest energy industry gathering in Houston, Texas.
PETAN announced the 2025 OTC event lineup:May 5: The Nigerian Pavilion opens at NRG Park, Houston, led by Petroleum Minister Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, Chevron Nigeria CEO Jim Swartz, and key industry executives.
The Pavilion remains open until May 8.
May 6: A Luncheon and Panel Session on “Harnessing Nigeria’s Gas Potential” at Wyndham Hotel, featuring IOCs, NOCs, and African industry leaders discussing key issues.May 6 (Evening): Nigerian Oil Industry Awards & Cocktail Night.
May 7: African Content Collaboration Session on local content & partnerships.
