Nigeria’s oil and gas reforms have accelerated since the 2021 Petroleum Industry Act, with NUPRC focusing on production, reserves, cost efficiency, and host community stability.Shell’s Marno de Jong highlighted that these reforms attract investment, citing Shell’s $5B Bonga North deep-water project.
He stressed the need for continuous strategy adjustments to compete globally, leveraging technology, cost efficiency, and skilled manpower for industry growth.
