Seplat Energy has installed over 850MMscfd of gas infrastructure to boost Nigeria’s domestic supply and tackle energy poverty.

COO Samson Ezugworie highlighted that this excludes additional capacity from Seplat’s recent acquisition of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, which offers further opportunities to power homes and industries nationwide.Seplat Energy is committed to sustainability and long-term growth, aligning its operations with ESG standards.

COO Samson Ezugworie highlighted the company’s focus on talent development, with 50 graduates recently hired for training.

Seplat is also advancing its End of Routine Flaring roadmap to cut carbon emissions and improve efficiency, with the Sapele Integrated Gas Plant playing a key role—its first module is already operational, with full capacity expected by 2025.Seplat aims to end routine flaring across all onshore assets by late 2025, with key projects like the Oben and Sapele LPG facilities underway.

The Sapele Gas Plant will help cut Scope 1 emissions at full capacity. On the social front, Seplat invested in education and health, training 352 teachers through STEP, benefiting 6,373 students via the Pearls Quiz, and equipping STEAM labs in four schools
