Speaking to the media, Arteta expressed optimism regarding the potential return of Kai Havertz before the end of the season.

“Hopefully we can have Kai Havertz back before the end of the season,” Arteta stated, offering a positive outlook on the German international’s recovery.

In more immediate good news for Arsenal fans, Arteta confirmed the fitness of two crucial players: “Declan Rice and Saka are fit, no issues or injuries. It’s all good.” This will be a welcome relief after both players have been vital to the team’s recent performances.

Arteta also provided an update on Riccardo Calafiori, who has been working his way back from injury. “Riccardo Calafiori is progressing really well,” Arteta said.

However, he remained cautious about setting a firm return date, adding, “At the moment, giving a timeline is difficult. He is in a good place.”
