
Temile Development Company Ltd has signed a $250m contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries to build an 88,000 cubic meter Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC), along with a supervision deal with NLNG Shipping & Marine Limited.
This raises TDC’s total gas sector investment to over $450m in four years. The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, hailed the move as key to advancing Nigeria’s “Decade of Gas” initiative, aimed at leveraging natural gas for economic growth and energy transition.Nigeria aims to be gas-powered by 2030 through reforms and investments.
