Heirs Energies aims for 100,000 daily oil production.

Heirs Energies is investing heavily to boost oil production in Nigeria. CEO Osayande Igiehon, speaking at the Congo Energy & Investment Forum, highlighted how the company doubled output from 25,000 to over 50,000 barrels per day within three months of acquiring OML 17 in 2021.

Now, Heirs aims to exceed 100,000 barrels per day. Osa also shared strategies to help Congo reach its 500,000-barrel-per-day target.Osa highlighted Heirs Energies’ success in doubling gas production to 80-100 million scf per day, supporting Nigeria’s power and industrial sectors.

He emphasized the Brownfield Excellence approach as a model for boosting production in Congo’s mature assets.The forum, organized by Energy Capital & Power with Congo’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons, gathered industry leaders to discuss Africa’s energy growth. Osa also stressed Africapitalism, a philosophy by Heirs Holdings Chairman Tony Elumelu, as key to shared prosperity.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation has committed $15 million to fund 3,000 African entrepreneurs, surpassing 24,000 beneficiaries since 2015.Osa emphasized partnerships for shared success and stronger Africa-to-Africa collaboration to tackle energy poverty and economic growth.

He highlighted Heirs Energies’ expertise in revitalizing mature assets across sectors, including hospitality and power. The forum also enabled discussions on potential partnerships in the Congo Basin, aligning with Heirs Energies’ Pan-African expansion strategy.
