Miami, Florida – Inter Miami CF have reportedly reached an agreement to appoint Alberto Marrero as their new Sporting Director.

Marrero, who previously held a prominent role at Atlético Madrid, is set to join the Major League Soccer club in a Chief Soccer Officer (CSO) capacity, according to a report from Tom Bogert.

The deal is understood to be finalized with signatures expected soon. Marrero brings a wealth of experience in football operations and player recruitment from his time with the Spanish giants.

His arrival is seen as a significant step for Inter Miami as they look to strengthen their organizational structure and build a competitive squad.
