Aquaterra Energy wins contract to boost Nigerian oil wells.

Aquaterra Energy secured a multi-million-dollar contract with Intrepid Energy Limited (IEL) to provide a customized subsea well intervention package in Nigeria.The turnkey well access system will support intervention in multiple mature oil wells, enhancing production. The contract includes a full seabed-to-surface intervention system, featuring Aquaterra’s TRT tieback tooling, a lightweight well pressure control system, and an ISO 13628-7 qualified riser.

The project will run for multiple years, with Aquaterra Energy providing technical expertise and ongoing support.Delivery Director Andrew McDowell highlighted the system’s efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness in optimizing interventions.

Intrepid Energy CEO Seun Alonge expressed confidence that the collaboration will enhance production and create lasting value.
