Abastible Partners with Zelestra for Renewable Energy Supply

Abastible signed a long-term deal with Zelestra for 100% renewable electricity. The hybrid project includes a 220 MW solar plant and a 1 GWh battery storage system, ensuring night-time supply. Once operational, it will generate 600 GWh annually, powering 200,000 Chilean homes.Zelestra CEO José Luis García highlights the deal as a tailored renewable energy solution supporting Abastible’s sustainability goals.

AbastibleTec GM Ignacio Mackenna says the agreement strengthens their role in Chile’s renewable energy market, advancing the country’s energy transition.Zelestra, recently ranked among the world’s top 10 clean energy suppliers by BNEF and second in EMEA, showcases its expertise in custom energy solutions with this contract. The deal reinforces its commitment to Chile as a key growth market and its role in advancing a sustainable energy future, the statement said.

Zelestra, recently recognized by BNEF as one of the world’s top 10 clean energy suppliers to corporate customers and ranked second in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, showcases its expertise in delivering customized energy solutions through this contract.
