Accelera & GAIL Partner for Green Hydrogen in India

Accelera and GAIL signed an MoU to develop green hydrogen in India. The partnership will explore hydrogen production, blending, transport, and storage, targeting sectors like transport, power, and steel.Accelera’s Alex Savelli said partnering with GAIL showcases green hydrogen’s potential.

Their combined expertise aims to accelerate adoption across India.Accelera supplied a 10MW PEM electrolyzer for GAIL’s Vijaipur plant, producing 4.3 tons of green hydrogen daily, blended into natural gas.GAIL’s Rajeev Kumar Singhal said the partnership supports India’s Green Hydrogen Mission, aiming for 5M tons annually by 2030.

The collaboration will focus on hydrogen blending, industry standards, and new applications.GAIL’s Rajeev Kumar Singhal said the Accelera partnership supports India’s goal of 5M tons of green hydrogen by 2030.

The collaboration will focus on hydrogen blending, standards, and new applications.Accelera, a leader in PEM electrolysis, has over 600 units worldwide, including 20MW in Quebec and 25MW in Florida.
