Dangote on ₦65 PMS Price Cut

Dangote Refinery has cut petrol prices again, reducing ex-depot rates by ₦65 to ₦825 per litre. This follows a ₦60 drop earlier in February, totaling a ₦125 reduction since January. Pump prices in Lagos are now expected to range from ₦860 to ₦865 per litre. The new pricing takes effect on February 27 to ease costs for Nigerians.

Dangote Refinery cut petrol prices for Ramadan, supporting Tinubu’s economic recovery plan. This marks the second PMS price drop in February 2025, following reductions in December 2024.Dangote’s price cuts eased living costs and prevented fuel scarcity.

Its high-quality petrol remains available nationwide through MRS, AP, and Heyden at market-friendly rates, with prices varying by region.Dangote Refinery ensures steady fuel supply, with surplus for export. It urges marketers’ support to benefit Nigerians and boost Tinubu’s economic recovery plan.

Dangote Refinery, which exports globally, recently supplied jet fuel to Saudi Arabia. It holds over 500 million litres of petrol, meeting Nigeria’s demand for days. Its 650,000 bpd capacity exceeds the country’s 385,000 bpd requirement.
