The buoys will be installed at Bonny and Forcados terminals this year.NCDMB Executive Secretary Felix Omatsola Ogbe praised SPDC’s commitment to local content during a site visit in Warri, commending both SPDC and PSL for timely, injury-free delivery.SPDC Director Elozino Olaniyan reaffirmed Shell’s commitment to Nigeria’s economic growth and local capacity building.

SPDC’s Project Manager, Chris Ubuane, expressed satisfaction that PSL will deliver the first buoy within a year, with over 90% of the workforce being Nigerians handling key tasks like project management, fabrication, and welding. He reaffirmed SPDC’s commitment to supporting PSL’s growth in buoy fabrication and maintenance.PSL Managing Director, Francis Anyakwo, thanked SPDC for the opportunity to execute this complex project and acknowledged NCDMB’s support in helping PSL become a major subsea contractor.
