TotalEnergies SE has signed a 10-year deal to supply India’s GSPC with 400,000 tons of LNG annually (six cargoes per year) from 2026.The LNG, sourced from TotalEnergies’ global portfolio, will be delivered to India’s west coast, serving GSPC’s industrial customers.

TotalEnergies will also supply LNG for Indian households, businesses, and CNG vehicles, including auto-rickshaws.“We are proud to support India’s energy transition with this LNG supply,” said Gregory Joffroy, TotalEnergies Senior VP for LNG.“This deal strengthens GSPC’s long-term LNG portfolio and helps bridge India’s gas supply gap,” said Milind Torawane, GSPC Managing Director.“This deal boosts GSPC’s portfolio and gas operations, leveraging its transmission and distribution network,” Torawane said.GSPC, a leading gas trader in India, operates across the gas value chain. In Gujarat, it meets one-third of the state’s gas demand, serving 2.3 million households, 20,000 businesses, and over 800 CNG stations.

TotalEnergies signed a 15-year renewable power purchase agreement (PPA) with STMicroelectronics in France, starting in January.

The 75 MW wind and solar farms will supply 1.5 TWh of clean energy to STMicroelectronics.“This deal highlights our commitment to supporting the tech industry’s decarbonization,” said Sophie Chevalier, TotalEnergies SVP for Flexible Power.“This PPA supports ST’s goal of 100% renewable energy and carbon neutrality by 2027,” said Geoff West, STMicroelectronics EVP.

West noted that PPAs are key to ST’s transition, with deals already signed for Italy and Malaysia. Starting in 2025, this PPA will power ST’s R&D, design, sales, and chip manufacturing operations in France.
