Africoat MD Frank Twynam says efforts are underway to resolve disputes and restore operations.NCDMB accelerates approvals for key projects, including Total’s Ubeta, Shell’s Bonga North, and ENI-Shell’s Zabazaba.

The board aims to partner with IOCs, ensuring local firm involvement in key scopes, aligning with President Tinubu’s economic agenda.At Samsung Heavy Industries, MD Jin Lee highlighted the firm’s in-country capacities, including FPSO integration.

The company trained 560 welders for the Egina FPSO project, employing over 1,000 people at its peak. Currently, the workforce is reduced to 131 due to fewer projects, but they plan to rehire past employees if new projects arise.

He also mentioned that SHIN plans to manufacture oil and gas components in Nigeria for export globally, highlighting the facility’s capacity and Nigeria’s strategic location for such opportunities.
