Dangote Refinery, aligning with market trends, has reduced its ex-depot petrol price from N950 to N890 per litre, effective February 1.

The significant decline in international crude oil prices has resulted in favorable developments in the global energy sector hence the price adjustment.

Dangote Refinery has reduced its petrol price from N950 to N890 per litre, aligning with global crude trends. Group Chief Branding Officer Anthony Chiejina noted this follows a previous price hike on January 19 due to rising crude costs.

The refinery expects this reduction to lower fuel costs nationwide, easing living expenses and boosting the economy.

It urged marketers to pass on the benefits to consumers while supporting President Tinubu’s vision for self-sufficiency in refined petroleum and positioning Nigeria as an oil export hub.
