Galatasaray has provided a negative injury update on Victor Osimhen, casting doubt on his participation in Nigeria’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.

The Nigerian striker suffered an injury during Galatasaray’s match against Kasımpaşa, forcing him off the field at halftime.

While the club has not provided a definitive timeline for his recovery, the initial assessment suggests that Osimhen could miss the Libya games.

This news will be a disappointment for both Galatasaray and the Nigerian national team.

Osimhen has been in excellent form this season, and his absence would be a significant blow to both teams’ chances of success.

However, there is still hope that Osimhen may be able to recover in time to play for Nigeria.

The club and the national team medical staff will be closely monitoring his progress and making decisions based on his fitness.
